As usual, when I heard about the new game from BetSoft that was to be released on April 2015 I got very excited. Mainly because "Event Horizon” is one of my favorite science-fiction horrors. Well, I was a bit disappointed as the game wasn't related to the movie directed by Paul W. S. Anderson. Nevertheless, this game offers an exciting space adventure to anyone who is brave enough to spin the reels. "Event Horizon” by BetSoft is a quite simple 5-reel 243 ways to win slot. Not only is it simple, but it is also classy. The reason why I use word classy are the symbols. You won't find in this game any of the futuristic space-travel related symbols, because every single one is a living classic. We have Fruits, and we all love fruits because they are tasty and healthy, Red Seven, BARs – triple, double and single – Golden Bell and of course a must be in every classy game – card symbols. Graphics are a little bit futuristic, but all in all it is an “EVENT HORIZON”. The slot is placed somewhere in space and the sounds fit the whole concept well. To add some spice to the gameplay, BetSoft equipped game with some extras. They're role in the game is to increase your chances of winning some serious money. The first of the special features is a Wild symbol. The symbol itself looks like some kind of orb. It is dark and glowing with violet light. It is the only non classic symbol in the game and its role is to replace any symbol on a winning line to increase our chances of winning. The second extra is a feature called Sync Reels (for those who don't know English well and are reading this review sync comes from the word synchronize – now you can google it). Every spin two reels are getting synchronized and will show exactly the same symbols, increasing at the same time our chances of winning big. Feature chooses reels randomly, but they are always one next to another. If you are lucky enough more then two reels will get synchronized – if you are ultimately lucky all five will. Despite the fact that there are no fantastic and crazy Bonuses, Free Spins or Scatters, "Event Horizon" will probably be a classic one day. But nevertheless, you don't have to wait until then to play it. Just go ahead and spin the reels.
