IGT has released an infographic that contains information on its MegaJackpots total money won, luckiest months, millionaires and more.

IGT MegaJackpot has launched in 1986 with MegaBucks slots. Since then it has grown to include a sizeable library of games and created over 1,500 millionaires and paid out almost $6 billion. According to the infographic the 5 states that had the biggest total amount won are:

Nevada: $2.3 billion

New Jersey: $884 million

Mississippi: $513 million

California: $429 million

Louisiana: $307 million

The luckiest winning months include May ($548 million), March ($509 million) and November ($493 million).

IGT’s subsidiary, DoubleDown Interactive has revealed that its fun-to-play social gaming application will now be available on some of Century Casinos’ websites.

International Game Technology (IGT) has announced the release of two new online slots, “She’s A Rich Girl” and “Monopoly Dream Life”.

“She’s A Rich Girl” is a 5-reel, 9-payline slot, which until now was available and very popular in land-based casinos. It has two wild symbols, free spins and scatters and its motto is ‘diamonds are a girl’s best friend’.

IGT has released Monopoly Plus on its Facebook-based DoubleDown Casino.

IGT has added a Transformers branded slots to its DoubleDown social casino.

A lucky player at Borgata online casino hit a €84,300 jackpot on IGT’s Monopoly Plus slot.

While It may seem rather small compared to jackpots paid in other, international casinos, the Monopoly Plus win shows the promise of pooled jackpots for the newly legalized online gambling market in New Jersey. The biggest online jackpot recorded was €17.9 million.

International Game Technology (IGT) has signed a licensing deal with Sony Pictures Consumer Products for its ‘Wheel of Fortune’ and ‘Jeopardy!’ brands.

A multi-year agreement that will run until at least 2024, it will see IGT develop Wheel of Fortune mobile and online games and Jeopardy! Slot machines and online games for its DoubleDown Casino and for-wager online play. 

This will be the first time when Jeopardy! Will be available in an online social casino in the US.

The leader in casino gaming, International Game Technology (IGT) and Manitoba Lotteries have signed an agreement to provide at least 3,000 video lottery terminals (VLT).
