SBTech

One of the best developers and providers of sportsbook software, SBTech, enters the Italian regulated market after it secured a deal with NEtBet.

SBTech can join the Italian industry, after it successfully completed the long and thorough regulatory compilance process. SBTech already provides its software solutions to NetBet in many other markets, for example in Greece, Malta, Romania and UK. Hitting the Italian market is another company’s step in the plan of global expansion. The compliance was granted by the Agency for Customs and Monopolies (ADM), previously known as the Autonomous Administration of State Monopolies (AAMS).

Alain Boccara, Chief Executive Officer for NetBet Italy:

“This achievement opens up a new chapter in our ongoing relationship with SBTech,” “The company’s skill and professionalism in meeting literally any challenge is the reason we are proud to be powered by their platform.”

Richard Carter, Chief Executive Officer of SBTech:

“Passing this notoriously difficult test is a vital step towards our goal of offering our award-winning Sportsbook in regulated online gaming markets globally. Our strategic relationship with NetBet continues to go from strength to strength, and will be further strengthened by this entry into the Italian market.”

SBTech company has lately announced that it has been granted with a Class 4 Remote Gaming License from the hands of Maltese Gaming Authority. Thanks to this license SBTech is allowed to sign more deals with operators that acquired licenses from the same gaming authority, for example mentioned NetBet or ComeOn.

In 2023, SBTech won Best In-Play Betting Software award during EGR. The company is a true leader among developers and providers of interactive sportsbetting solutions to regulated markets. The company uses best-of-breed technology solutions, what allows to implement high-definition display of sporting events, over 25,000 In-Play events, multiple cash out and many more.
