Playtech 2
Playtech has launched a new Virtual Tennis simulator and it is the most realistic one so far. The new game went live across Playtech Sports customers.

Playtech, one of the world’s leading omni-channel gaming software, has launched probably the best and the most realistic virtual tennis product, available across all platforms, channels and devices.

After a process that took a long year of motion capturing in cooperation with Warner Bros Studios, followed by 3D design and modelling that took place in UK based Playtech Studios, Playtech Virtual Tennis is so close to the real life experience as anyone could wish. The attention to details and the quality is beyond imagination. And most importantly, the game also offers an extensive betting opportunities. The new tennis game is available online, on mobile and retail and it provides comprehensive life like action, realistic game-play and incredible attention to detail including dynamic cloth physics with players’ shirts moving as they stretch to hit a backhand cross-court winner.

This project was the biggest one of its kind so far. The cooperation with Warner Bros Studios has seen 100 cameras, worth over €7 million, to be used in order to capture the best and most realistic movement in the Virtual Sports Betting history. All of that was possible thanks to 0.5mm positional accuracy allowing to capture the most authentic movement. As a result of that project, we can witness the most advanced graphically and the best in design Virtual Sports product.

Elliott Norris, Head of Virtual Sports, Playtech, said: “Our Virtual Tennis product is unlike anything the industry has ever seen and feels as if you are courtside watching a Grand Slam. The team has done a phenomenal job and we’re delighted and incredibly proud of the results. The graphics are mind-blowing and we are the only company able to offer full sports simulations meaning that betting and gameplay are as realistic as possible”.
