“Wild Turkey” is the newest video slot from Net Entertainment. The game has 5-reel, 20-line and… surprisingly simple graphics! The symbols of five turkeys are well designed, but they don’t display any animations, even when included in a winning combination. The symbols of high value cards and the Wild symbol are also static and if you expect to see some spectacular animations when a winning combination is made, you may be disappointed. The sound effects are also very simple and you won’t hear any music in the background. Net Entertainment is known for its marvellous graphics and animations, but unfortunately the presentation of “Wild Turkey” does not even resemble those amazing games designed by Net Entertainment that we are all used to.
The number of special features included in “Wild Turkey” is also a bit disappointing, since the only special symbol in this game is the Wild idol. However, this symbol has more than one function. Not only does it replace all symbols to form winning combinations, but it also awards Free Spins. Yes, you’ve read that correctly – a Wild symbol that awards Free Spins! Hitting 3, 4 or 5 Wilds anywhere on the reels in the main game awards 15, 30 and 60 Free Spins respectively. During the Free Spins mode the Wild symbol will become a Staked Wild, which may cover from one to three positions on a reel. It will also substitute for all other symbols, increasing your chances of hitting a winning combination. What is more, if the Staked Wild symbol covers a whole reel during the Free Spins feature, it will award two additional Free Spins.
Although, we were surprised to see simple graphics and special features in a game created by Net Entertainment, we have to admit that this slot isn’t as boring as it may seem. The frequency of winning and the generous Free Spins feature, make it worth to give this game a try and have a few spins for a chance of activating the Free Spins mode, which guarantees an exciting adventure on the reels!
