Caesars Entertainment

It is said that Caesars Entertainment will sell off one of their online divisions, once the offer of about $4 billion (€3.5 billion) was received.

Following the news of The Wall Street Journal, there are some companies and businesses of gambling industry, as well as media and entertainment companies that consider acquiring the Caesars Interactive Entertainment (CIE) division. According to the source, the deal concerns the mobile gaming more than poker brand.

While speaking to the source, Mitch Garber, the chief executive of CIE, said “We want to hear what people have to say, for sure.”

The news about selling off the division appeared right after Caesars revealed this month that their revenue has grown 13,6% in the first quarter. The interactive division is said to take a great part in this achievement.

The CIE’s revenue was up 29% to $227.8 million with the interactive arm annual sale equal amazing $800 million.
