Biggest developers of casino games, NetEnt and Playtech, remove some of their most popular games due to licensing rights.
Let take a closer look at NetEnt first. The company is forced to remove from their collection of games South Park titles, as well as highly popular Alien casino game. All games which are going to be removed gained a massive popularity among players. The period of granted licensing rights expired, so the company is no longer authorized to offer mentioned games.
Another bad news is that Playtech has to remove all Marvel games from their portfolio. Disney, which owns full rights to Marvel comics, simply wants to withdraw from the online gambling market. The company doesn’t want to be associated with this area of entertainment anymore.
Playtech has a back up plan in the shape of DC Movie slots, so fans of world-famous comics still have some interesting slots to play with. Thanks to the deal with Warner Bros. the company still has in its collection games based on such popular movies like Batman, or to be released Justice League and Suicide Squad. Of course there are also other fantastic games like Age of the Gods, but for fans of Robert Downy Junior flying in suit made of metal it may not be enough.
