Gamesys
On Monday, 6 June, Gamesys together with Metric Gaming announced that they are about to enter an agreement, owing to which a next generation sportsbook will come to live; the sportsbook will be powered by Metric’s state-of-the-art SuperLive® technology platform.

Based in London, Gamesys, since 2001, has been efficiently developing the online gaming company, which can be found behind some of the most successful sites and apps, such as Virgin Games, Sun Bingo, and Caesar’s Casino for instance. Currently, Gamesys can be proud of its 250 plus games, including Slots and Bingo. Now, the Gamesys’ board decided to develop a betting site, with the help of Metric Gaming, considering as one of the leading suppliers of sportsbook solutions. The UK sports betting market is quite full and competitive at the moment, yet, Gamesys is pretty confident in its standing, supporting the action with their gaming expertise, well-developed and mastered mobile solutions, which will help the company to make a sportsbook for mobile and make it a feature distinguishing the product from other available on the market.

The role of Metric Gaming in the collaboration is crucial, as the company will share with the Gamesys the concept of Metric’s SuperLive®, which has already gained an audience of satisfied customers as well as the attention of the whole industry. The platform enables in-game, instant gratification betting opportunities (such as whether a goal will be scored in the next sixty seconds) while customer accounts are credited in real time. What is more, the platfrom has now best-of-breed traditional pre-game and in-game sportsbook content as well, representing the first truly mobile, next generation full sportsbook technology.

“This is an exciting step for Gamesys,” said Lee Fenton, Gamesys‘ CEO. “We see tremendous potential in Metric’s technology, and believe our companies‘ visions are aligned for this industry’s future.”

“Gamesys’ track record in the gaming industry speaks for itself,” added Metric’s President & CEO, Peter Bertilsson. “They themselves build great technology so we are honored that they recognized the power of our platform to help them enter the Sports market.”
